So I was only going to listen to book 1 but the "cliffhangers" got me to get the others. While I started to get bored at Hardin's crappy behavior and Tessa's constant giving in to and accepting that, I couldn't stop listening. Gluten for punishment I guess. I don't think it was a waste of money because I had a hard time not listening to the end of each book and getting the next but perhaps because I was trying to relive what it was like at their ages. (I'm quite old) Just take it for what it's worth...a decent read.

This book series was a bit monotonous .... I felt it was the same whining arguing and fighting between the main characters and I got really annoyed with it ! Any story line was so slow to develop that I lost interest many times . A waster of money for me as I purchased 1-3, I kept wanting to give it a chance that something was going to happen , some kind of resolve, conclusion . Maybe this is how relationships are now ...very narcissistic
