Unabridged Audiobook
Really good book, narrator kinda sucked.
I really found this to be a fascinating book. I've always enjoyed this reader.
Bad and sadly I do defenetly do not like
Great
For the time period this is a great story good character development great story painting. Well narrated
Such a great classic story. Very good tale, and very well narrated by Ralph J. Snelson. His timing and inflection were very engaging, and he made very, very few mistakes. I would definitely recommend this recording.
All around great time period read Narrator excellent
Very positive and kind book. Was interested in real story behind the movies and it's wonderful. Now I know the real story of Phileas's love. Good narration
Great story and the narrator took me for a ride.
Love the story
I enjoyed this story, I've seen so many movies that skim over this tale. The story was very entertaining and kept you interested, I will seek out more books by Jules Vernes
THe book is great however there are a number of words that he appeared to mispronounced.
The narrator sadly pronounced some things incorrectly, but apart from this did a fair job. The book itself is brilliant. Enjoyed hearing the story I read so many years ago once again. Great fun!
Read this at school many years ago and didn’t remember much except Phileas Fogg’s exacting lifestyle, Aouda’s rescue and the balloon. However the balloon is only in the David Niven film but the book did not disappoint and was mot enjoyable in an old fashioned and non PC way. It is of its time , the late 1800s. It was originally published in parts as if in real time and many readers thinking it was a real expedition laid bets on the outcomes.
It's a good book. Narrator does a good job.
Loved this book
Fantastic, well written well read
I didn't think I'd like this narrator, but he does grow on you. The book is a classic and is quite quirky.
It was cool just hearing that you're on the next chapter.
