Unabridged Audiobook
Pretty good insights but not a lot new here if you've looked at these issues at all. Probably would be a good read for teenage children on the consequences of winding up in the system. I support law enforcement but I do have civil liberties and militarization concerns. I'm a bit older and I'm generally an "upstanding citizen", and getting caught with weed isn't really a concern for me. But I do want to stay off police radar and avoid any encounters if I can because you never know how they will go. Nothing on Civil asset forfeiture where if you're carrying large amounts of money they just seize it. I would have also liked to learn more about DWI stops and how they use that to generate revenue and what you can do if you find yourself in that situation (You can get a DWI on the flimsiest pretexts). I've actually gotten advice from Sheriff friends in the past that were not mentioned here. There was some useful stuff toward the end on self defense and privacy. Again, most I already knew. I suppose you can't get to deep on advice since each state has it's own laws. The author has pretty good sense of humor as he goes through the subjects.
