Summary
While technology may make it easier to track down criminals, cyberspace has spawned a skyrocketing number of ways to commit crime, much of it untraceable. In fact, punishment for fraud, much less recovery of stolen funds, is a rare occurrence. Prevention is the best form of protection.

Frank Abagnale, former con artist and bestselling author of Catch Me If You Can, reveals the mind-boggling tricks of the scam trade with advice that has made him one of America’s most sought after fraud-prevention experts. Drawn from his twenty-five-year career on the other side of the law, The Art of the Steal provides eye-opening stories of true scams with tips on how they could have been avoided.

Really outdated. Not sure I learned anything at all. Would have been great 20 years ago.

Very interesting book by a very interesting person. Many interesting stories of how people have been scammed into losing their money, as well as interesting ways of beating the system.

After seeing 'Catch Me If You Can', I was expecting more than an excellent set of warnings. I was hopeing for more stories that were not in the film. However, the book was very imformative as far as it went and not being to long, I thought it was worthwhile.

This is a must for consumers and business people from clerks to managers. This man knows his stuff when you listen to this you will see how some of this may have been used against you. I used to manage restaurants and I could have used some of this information ,as a consumer I am made more aware of what is out there and how the bad guys think. This book is pack full of valuable info that is practical and important. If you don't want to be fool again, you should read this book over and over again. The knowledge in this book is well-worth to pass it on to children, students, employees alike. The writing is a bit on the dry side, but it is still quite entertaining with real life examples. With a book that is so informative. I think it is as good as it gets.
