Unabridged Audiobook
One of my favorite books ever. I make a point to read it at least once a year. Now it's much easier with the audiobooks.com app.
Years later have listening to this book, I still think about it. I would live the opportunity to have dinner with B. Franklin. He’s fascinating.
Good book, but the narrator speaks in a highly repetitive rhythm which often ignores the meaning of the words. As bad or worse is the fact that he clearly failed to look up the pronunciation of words he obviously was unfamiliar with. There are a half dozen words used frequently throughout the book that he seems to have no knowledge how to say, and hearing them mispronounced over and over is irritating. He has a pleasant voice, otherwise.
The reader was somewhat emotionless throughout the book making listening difficult. An actor with more range and expression would have made a better impact, especially since Franklin is a larger than life figure.
Great, interesting, inspiring, essential American history.
Well done.
Excellent! I wish he had completed more.
10/10 story and narrator adds so much value
It seemed to cut short or the book ended strangely. But I enjoyed what I did hear a lot.
Enjoyed what their was of Frankins life, but dissapointed it did not carry through the revolution.
Very much enjoyed the narrative of an influential gift to us. Fascinating!
Great book. Very comprehensive and a wonderful look into this great man's life and times.
