Unabridged Audiobook
I wanted to like this but found the writing mediocre and the narrating worse. You can hear Heather out of breath at the end of long passages or using terrible voices for other people in her stories. Interesting to learn a bit more about Mormons, but wasn't worth the listen.
Question all bad reviews, they are likely from Mormons who can’t handle the truth!!
I used to love Heather, someone I can relate to. This was the first and only "celebrity memoir" I have, and probably will, read.I felt her spirit in the words, not only because she read the audiobook, but because I feel like I met her through TV, watching Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I didn't expect much about the show, but I got even less about her life. I felt like she skipped some important details. But it made laugh a few times, so overall a fun experience, nothing groundbreaking.
I enjoyed the content of the book, but Heather is not a good narrator. She often sounds out of breath t the end of sentences, and this was a distraction from the message she was trying to convey.
Very much enjoyed getting to know Heather on a different level then the tv show editors show.
