Summary
NATIONAL BESTSELLER • In this spellbinding novel, Lestat, rebel outlaw, addresses the tribe of vampires, telling us the mesmerizing story of how he became prince of the vampire world, and of the formation of the Blood Communion, and how his vision for the Children of the Universe to thrive as one, came to be.

Lestat takes us from his ancestral castle in the snow-covered mountains of France to the verdant wilds of lush Louisiana, with its lingering fragrances of magnolias and night jasmine; from the far reaches of the Pacific’s untouched islands to the 18th-century city of St. Petersburg and the court of the Empress Catherine. He speaks of his fierce battle of wits and words with the mysterious Rhoshamandes, proud Child of the Millennia, reviled outcast for his senseless slaughter of the legendary ancient vampire Maharet, avowed enemy of Queen Akasha, who refuses to live in harmony at court and who threatens all Lestat has dreamt of....

Never thought i would ever dislike an Ann Rice book. Boring! What a disappointment! Worst narrator was chosen to portray Lestat.

I use to Simon Vance as Lestat. He was narrator was okay. I was able to get into the book. I like Vampires Chronicles continuing from the last novel. It was good. But not great like Simon Vance as a Narrator.

I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed., If I could have listened to the narrator it might have been okay, he was not the right choice, beyond frustrating!! Please don’t do this to we long time fans!!! I want my money back!

This one the narrator through me off and listening to it was a struggle, only due to the voice of the narrator is so off from the feel of the books. I am not saying he is not a good narrator but a poor very poor fit for this book.

the narrator of this book was beyond terrible. he pronounced damn near every single name incorrectly. not only that but it sounded weird having a flamboyantly gay man narrate a book without even so much as attempting an accent which made everyone sound ridiculous. I can't imagine and right thought this guy did a good job. and to think this was the last book in the series and it was completely ruined by the narrator.

This narrator was the wrong choice for this particular title. Perhaps he would better suited for another type of book. Please consider recording this book with another narrator.
