Reviews

I like the stories and have never read anything by this author. The narrators went from bad to worse. I am born and raised in the South and the accents are terrible. If she wanted these read with a southern accent, the author should have chosen an actual southerner. I can’t even listen to the third book it is so bad. Very disappointed because the stories are great. I cannot believe these were approved by the powers that be. It’s insulting to people actually from Charleston and SC.

I am not sure if I can listen to book 3 even though the stories are good enough. The narrator of book 2 was so slow sounding I thought my settings were off. A true southerner reading the books would have definitely made this better.

I usually don’t like southern love story books but I really enjoyed these. There was enough substance to the characters to keep me listening. If she makes more books in the series I will definitely be reading them!

The story was simple romance and passed the time while I was driving… The narration went from bad to worse and I was convinced it must have been AI generated. This really downgraded the audiobook in my opinion.

Relatively good stories, not so good narrators.

The narrator for the first one was good but the I almost quit listening because the other 2 were terrible

I liked the storyline a lot. However, it was a struggle for me to listen to the narrators past Book 1. As a Southerner, the attempt at Southern accents was a constant distraction and as painful as listening to nails on a chalkboard!

This trio was sweet, a good feel set of books. I wish they had been consistent with narrators but I liked the Chang of pace from my normal mysteries.

the books were a good read. interesting, but predictable. they were nice romance novels. the 1st book was the best, but the 2nd book, the narrator ruined it for me. then the 3rd book, was a great story line, but very predictable and not as exciting as the 1st. the narrator atleast read at a faster pace than the 2nd narrator, but her gasps after pauses were a little too exaggerated.all and all. it was a good 34 hours read.

Story was fine. Exactly what I line to listen to when I do yard work, clean or embroidery. The narrator in book 1 maybe a 2-3. The narrator(s) for the last two books were at least a -10. I listen to several audio books a month. By far the worse narrator I’ve ever listened to
