Unabridged Audiobook
I bought this for my 10-year-old son thinking it would be fine for him. It has filthy language (swearing) and is unfit for a child or younger person to listen to.
My daughter loved it! The only thing, it’s that it skipped some parts, she was following along reading the hardcover.
I love this book! I picked it because I had always loved the 1950's movie based on this charming family with Clifton Webb
I pick my nine year old granddaughter up from school every day. We both like to listen to audiobooks on the 30 minute drive home. Many times because of her age and the age appropriate content of the book that we are listening to I want to jump out of the car for some relief LOL. Although there were things in Cheaper that she didn't understand because of the era of the story, it gave us lots to discuss. A delightful book for both of us.
What fun! Makes me wish I had 11 siblings. The narration was great also. I do wish the few cuss words had been left out. They "cheapen" the story.
