Unabridged Audiobook
The only down side was I wish the epilogue showed further into the future. But it was an amazing story and a great ending.
I m sad that the trilogy is over and done with. I loved it. Thank you
Perfect ending to the series, even though I wish there would be more books too. The narrator is absolutely amazing! Love this book
Enjoyed
Thought she could have finished with more after " the after " . But totally enjoyed the series .
a great read. I love her books
I love Nora Roberts style of writing. And this narrator is fantastic. She makes each character sound different and she’s just so good with putting the emotion and intensity into her voice.
I love Nora and this narrator was amazing. wish they would .ake a TV show out this and so many other nora trilogies!
I’m completely heartbroken over the ending. All the talk of the after but never filling us in on the after. Just sad because the trilogy was awesome until the ending.
Narrator is amazing. I wish there was more books after this one but it ended on a good note. Very well written and narrated.
I have listened to this story many times. Ihear something new everytime. I have yet to get bored with the story.
This was the most boring fantasy and romance story I have ever read. I forced myself to finish, because this series is rated nearly perfectly on every review site, and I figured it had to get better at some point. It didn’t. I’m a fan of both romance and fantasy novels, and a fan of Nora Roberts’s earlier work. So why did I hate this? Both the romance and fantasy aspects were lacking. More than anything else this is the story of a woman who was bored with her life and suddenly inherited enough money to do whatever she wants. She dyes her hair, gets a tattoo, goes looking for her absent father, and becomes a virtual overnight success as a writer. The fantasy world is window dressing with no depth. The dragons noted in the title may as well be overgrown, flying mules with no lore or personality. These magical beasts exist only to literally carry the character from place to place. Her dog has more character development than her dragon. The romance. Which romance? The one where the MC has casual a sexual relationship with her teacher, or the one between the two gay stereotypes where they fall in love instantly and get married shortly afterward with no build up or tension? The protagonists are all saccharine sweet good guys, the villains are puppy kicking evil. Despite the fantasy world containing many sentient, advanced species all the “good” societies get along impeccably and seem to have no conflict. The most annoying part to me is the MC’s stable of emotional support LGB people who are walking stereotypes. They exist only to tell MC “you go girl!” and be tokens of “representation.” I honestly question whether this was really written by the same Nora Roberts. The narrator is excellent though, her voice is very soothing. This series made a great sleep aid.
I LOVED this series. I was addicted to them. The narrator was incredible and very talented. I fell completely under the Irish charm.
This book was so good I didn’t want it to end
I loved the ending of this trilogy and may have shed a few tears!
I wish there were more books like this. Amazing, couldn't put it down!
