Summary
The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked, and the packages are wrapped, but the biggest celebration this Christmas is Gaby Summerhill's wedding. Since her husband died three years ago, Gaby's four children have drifted apart, each consumed by the turbulence of their own lives. They haven't celebrated Christmas together since their father's death, but when Gaby announces that she's getting married--and that the groom will remain a secret until the wedding day--she may finally be able to bring them home for the holidays.

But the wedding isn't Gaby's only surprise--she has one more gift for her children, and it could change all their lives forever. With deeply affecting characters and the emotional twists of a James Patterson thriller, The Christmas Wedding is a fresh look at family and the magic of the season.

I could not get this whole book to play, I did try several times and from what I heard it was going to be a good book.

HORRIBLE! One of the worse books I've ever read.

This is a "feel good" story that is outside of Patterson's normal mysteries and crime thrillers. Nonetheless, it is a good listening book which flows nicely and has a happy ending. Voices give the characters life and add to the enjoyment of the book.

This was a feel-good book. The story felt like a well-worn shoe, comfortable and casual. The main plot device was awkward, but it didn't ruin the story for me. Dialogue was well done, and the characters well drawn and believable.

This was, in a word, terrible. It's only redeeming quality is for aspiring writers who wonder if their work is publishable. With the bar set as low as with this book, virtually anyone's efforts deserve to be in print. Do not rent this. Get a root canal instead. It is less painful. Bye the way. I am no literary snob. I read all kinds of material, from People Magazine to US Weekly. This book was just vapid.
