Unabridged Audiobook
G K Chesterton is a man of his time. What must have been quirky and exciting then now appears very odd and somewhat staid. That is not to say the stories were not worth listening to; you just have to turn off the preset perception. I could honestly see some aspects of these stories being used in more modern settings, especially sci-fi and fantasy. The reading was reasonable but I would have liked a little more expressions and elucidation.
