Good for folks in early recovery, very simple and not to heavy on information, but sort of repetitive and unclear for those looking for more in depth information.

Not a lot of fact and way too many blurred lines. Everyone jump on the band wagon. Well written.. just questionable facts

Very helpful! I couldn’t stop listening. Gave me a lot of comfort in areas of my relationship where I was feeling lost or crazy.

I learned a lot about codependency from this book.. The book showed me where I have codependence as well as how to replace this behaviour with healthier ones. I also loved the narrator because her voice was warm and comforting. I feel like I gained a new perspective while reading this book.

I started to listen to this book as research for a talk I am preparing for to a group of ladies.. I got so much more! I got insights into my past with an alcoholic father, co-dependent mother, an adulterer ex-husband. My life is very different now with a healthy approach to relationships. I do think that I would have handled things with less guilt if I had heard this before.

A good book although it focuses too much on people living with an alcoholic spouse. There are other types of codependency.
