I really enjoyed this book. Has multiple moral issues, coming of age story, friendships, and a real sci-fi story line. Technically interesting and believable premise (future-wise).

This is the first book that I have read by Marion Zimmer Bradley. When I asked if she was known by my husband, who has read nearly every sci-fi written,, he replied, “she’s great”. So I took the leap into sci-fi. It was excellent book; plot, story, language, imagery. I highly recommend this book.

Decent title. A few minor flaws here and there. Really liked the narrator. I have started a few audio books that I stopped because of the narrator, so I was exceptionally happy with this reading.

This was a gem of a surprise made of the 8th color. I was on a trip around galaxies that MZB created. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. Wish it was longer than 14 chapters.

Simple story plot, great science fiction atmosphere. Good but not life changing. Interested take of peace and sharing.

Ideal reader for the entirety of the book. I found myself trying to find moments when I could catch another chapter or even a part of a chapter. I enjoyed it immensely.

This book is a sleeper. Wasn't expecting such a great story from a free book. Kept me hooked from the start. If you like science fiction and you like FREE this is an awesome read (listen)!

Interesting poetic story with a sensitivity towards difference. Fun without being silly or over the top. Fantastic narrator is an added bonus.

Mark Nelson is one of my favorite narrators and I found this book because of he is the reader. Thank you for letting us search by the narrator. This story was so good. So much for the imagination to do. Sweet story about a young boy forced to choose between what's expected and what is moral. I liked it and now I am going to search by this author!
