Crazy Good

So I was really disappointed by this book and kind of stopped caring mid-way trough and here is why: - This book starts with a flash-forward of drama, and then dives into the actual meeting and the story. Now that would not be a problem if the story caught up to that point rather quickly or at least in the first 50% of the book. But not only does the explanation comes to late, it's brushed off and explained fairly quickly. Actually worse this fact is treated like a detail among others and well it just does not work. - This story is full of clichés. First both MC's, he is a fuck boy with a perfect body that never settled down, she is a sweet girl oblivious to her own beauty that was hurt by her first and only love. Second there is the meet not so cute, with attraction at first, while he is being surrounded by easy girls. And well you will never guess why our hero goes after our heroine, because she is the only one who says no! Even the hero bf (who by the way has a huge crush on bar tender) flirts with our hero. In front of the bar tender! I just want, I don't know, not to have to the same unrealistic crap trown in my face as a stereotypical romance. I want to read a love story not a recipe for unrealistic hopes... - Don't get me started on the we navy seal good guy, they Afgan people bad guys bullsh*t. The hero even complains that they are not welcome by the people leaving in the country! Guys you are an invading army under the disguise of doing what is good for those people who in reality never asked for your help. It glorifies war and soldiers in a sickening way, completely biased. In short, this is not doing it for me, it's too stereotyped and unrealistic. I read romance to fall in love with romance and couples. When the characters of different stories are basically interchangeable it's just not good writing! Narration was OK.
