Unabridged Audiobook
I really enjoyed the book although it was somewhat confusing with the names of all the different characters (especially when they go by different names at different times). The narrator was absolutely brilliant. He added such life to the characters.
The reader made this production very difficult to bear. Dostoyevsky makes heavy use of dialogue filled with exclamations of alarm, shock, disgust, and other violent emotions. The reader dramatized this dialogue excessively. His style quickly becomes wearying and - when he attempts female voices - ridiculous.
