Unabridged Audiobook
the good: This book builds a wonderful introduction to the vibrant history of US Cuban relations. I enjoyed the writing style and learned much about the intertwined histories Cuba and the US share.the bad: It is just way too positive about Castro and almost totally ignores or down plays his worst traits.
Outstanding. This history book feels more like a novel given the author's powerful narrative skill and attention to detail. I learned so much about my place of birth that at times listening was just overwhelming as I realized how much I did not know. You made my mother's day because she was so proud and happy that I took such an interest in her history.
just fine
