Unabridged Audiobook
the 6th book in the dark series. I loved this story... now. the 1st time I heard it there was a different narrator and I did not care for it. having many red heads in my family I believe miss feehan hit the nail on the head with the stubbornness and sometimes irrational characteristics of a red head.
After listening to the 34th book, I was led to go back to the beginning of the series. Until I started listening to "Dark Fire" I was thoroughly enjoying the series. Unfortunately, for me, the narration was so discordant I could not listen beyond a couple of chapters. The sample did not, in my opinion, provide a good representation of the narrator doing multiple characters. Also, the central characters in this book are the same as those in the previous book "Dark Challenge". The change in narrators coupled with, to me, the off-putting narration of "Dark Fire" is why I rated the audiobook as I did. I am hopeful that reading this title/book will provide the same connection that, after reading the 34th book, led me to go back to the beginning of the series.
Once again Christine Feehan has done it. A grabber from start to finish.
