Unabridged Audiobook
Meh. You pretty much know what has happened from the second chapter. If Stephen King found this “unput-down-able,“ he needs to find better books to read. I suppose I could say this gives a more up close look at what a family might experience when someone goes missing – – though I must say it seemed entirely unrealistic according to any family I’ve ever known. The character of the husband is quite well drawn and perhaps that’s the best thing about the book. Otherwise, meh. The themes of the vagaries of marriage have been done and done and done again.
I found the narrator very annoying and it took away from the story for me.
Not realistic and why write that story?
Fairly predictable book. I found the narrator’s imitation of a male voice distracting and silly.
I was really hoping for better. There’s not much to say about this book.
