The Dead Secret

Wilkie Collins was a genius with this sort of story. Most enjoyable. But some of the narrator’s efforts were extremely painful and difficult to listen to and almost impossible to understand. I suppose these are test narratives for the volunteer readers? I appreciate their time and effort, but could these unfortunate chapters perhaps be edited and re-recorded by others who have better narration skills?

Excellent story as always by Wilkie Collins. Most of the narration was good apart from one or two ladies who were very difficult to understand and who were really difficult to listen to. But as I was enjoying the story so much, I persisted until the next narrator.
