Wow, this title was the most exiting to date! Love this series. Would love Bruno‘s cook book.

This is the fourth in the Bruno, Chief of Police series that we have listened to. We are following in chronological order which helps with the various characters that come in and out of the story. Like all in this series, it was a pleasant listen while walking with my wife. It is NOT great literature, but fun to listen to on a 3-5 mile walk. Narration was very enjoyable as usual.

This is one of the earlier books by Martin Walker. Reading them out of sequence has highlighted how well Martin has mastered his craft and his trade mark ‘when will this turmoil’ end conflicts while great when you’re not expecting them, but have started to become routine in his latest books. \r\n\r\nOver all, my listening partner - wife - enjoy the writing, the setting and the reader immensely, and return to various books quite often.\r\n\r\nEnjoy.\r\n

Mackenzie's rich British accent and terrible French pronunciation detract fron the wonderfilled Perinou experience.
