Unabridged Audiobook
A great recap of Trump’s presidency. I’m not sure how anyone who lived through those years could ever choose a man like Trump to lead the free world again. Human behavior can be very disappointing. Takes you through Trump’s descent into madness. God help us all if he ever comes to power again.
What a fabulous book. thankyou
This is12th book I have either read or heard on the presidency of "the Divider." It has the advantage of 12 months distance the from legal end of that tragedy for the USA. Glasser and Baker are trusted Washington figures and so have access to the detail in the large pile of various books and media generated out The Divider's presidency as well as commentary and loosened tongues in the aftermath. The account is horrible. The scale of the horrors of a leader who seems to live by one value - self promotion, is jarring. The account demonstrates the impenetrability of his commitment to that single value as it vividly explains how destructive the man was to both courageous and cowardly servants. The saddest thing about this book is that all this truly mesmerizing detail and research about a man who has no concept of service to the nation but occupied the Presidency of the USA for four years, will not change anything. There were times I was amazed that the narrator did not burst into tears of rage. As a foreign lover of all things in US politics I am thankful to the authors for their work
