‘Unnerving and spine-chilling’ Mel Sherratt

Corinne’s life might look perfect on the outside, but after three failed IVF attempts it’s her last chance to have a baby. And when she finds a tiny part of a doll house outside her flat, it feels as if it’s a sign.

But as more pieces begin to turn up, Corinne realises that they are far too familiar. Someone knows about the miniature rocking horse and the little doll with its red velvet dress. Someone has been inside her house…

How does the stranger know so much about her life? How long have they been watching? And what are they waiting for…?

A gripping debut psychological thriller with a twist you won’t see coming. Perfect for fans of I See You and The Widow.

I thought that she left a lot of things dangling because she was going to go back to them But then she just rushed through the book to finish it and then she wanted to make an interesting epilogue. I think she had a lot of ideas while she was writing the book and never went through with them you can kind of tell

The narrator was fine. They can only do so much with what they have to work with. This book was reviewed to be "gripping" and have a surprising ending. The words I would use would be more along the lines of same old used up storyline, no shock there, wow! did you just pull that out of the air?!, things like that! I really am surprised this book made it through to publishing. One of the first "reads" in a while that I regret spending the time and money on.
