I’ve been devouring these books. I’m at twelve now. You have to read these in the order written. The English Girl is my favorite. The ending will blow you away. You thought it would be different. It will take your breath away. Don’t look at it before you read the book. All his books are great. If you want a stand alone book of his read the Unlikely Spy. I think his research of it made want to create Gabriel Allon. Just a thought.

The book is well paced and thrilling but I found it too opinionated, too sided.

Such a wonderful thriller, heart warming. and exciting story. Can't wait to find out what happened to Christopher, and how Kiara tells Gabriel of the surprise awaiting them.
