Unabridged Audiobook
Well well, Mary has done it again. The characters, the tone, the setting, she nailed it. Mary just needs to work on the verbiage, because no one talks like this anymore, then again who knows. Vera, messy old Vera got what she deserved. Being money hungry gets you nowhere, and she ends up just as she was in the beginning, alone and poor. I'm glad Sarah found love and got away from that house of gold diggers. I just hope her new love doesn't use her for her money. The lengths people go to for money is crazy, but not surprising at all. #Book28of2021 #bookworm #whatsnext
This book was very crass, but I enjoyed the storyline. As the saying goes, "Once a cheater, always a cheater."
Lame. Portrayed people of color in an insulting and stereotypical way.
not my favorite
Way too long and predictable. This could have easily been a 4 hr book
I was terribly disappointed in this point. Literally, it is the a book about a gold digging woman who cared about nothing but money. The plot was very boring.
The book has so many horrendous characters it was hard to listen to sometimes. The plot was a bit ridiculous and there were many indiscrepancies in the story. It was kinda fun to listen to, though, because the narrators were good. But when even the heroine is a cheater-oh well.
I think it's absolutely macktabulously worth reading
I would love to see this as a movie, maybe on UMC or Lifetime. It started a bit slow, but I stuck with it & it got good, really good ❤. I did like Sarah's narration & Vera's. Kenneth's was a bit weird. LOL.
Good book but I didn’t like the ending.
