Unabridged Audiobook
It was an easy listen. I did enjoy it. It really did help pass the time for me. The narrator did a good job as well.
Predictable
Don't buy this book. I almost stopped listening but thought for sure that the ending would bring all the meandering nonsense to make sense...IT DID NOT. At this point, I am wondering why on earth this book was titled FEARLESS -- it was more of CLUELESS main charactre
Don’t waist your credit! This book was so frustrating because the main character was so clueless. And at the end, not all of the issues were wrapped up. And it’s not part of a series… Thank goodness
CAUTION: POTENTIAL SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW. This book meanders through a meager plot that doesn't even make good use of the usual aspects of suspense that keep all of us interested -- a luxury cruise with a possible stalker on board, a handsome, but probable sexual predator/con man courting you, a child in danger, or being falsely accused of a serious crime. Additionally, it is supremely unrealistic that this super savvy, successful business woman would make the choices she makes. The narrator, though her voice is pleasant enough, and her characterizations of the different players were fine, has an almost intolerable habit of slipping into reading as if simply reciting something aloud, so that the dialogue has unnatrual pauses, and intonation completely inappropriate to the situation. An example from the story is something roughly like this, " as far as she could recall, he had loong pause as narrator moves eyes to next line of the script four children." The combination of the meager, meandering plot and low effort narration almost made me stop listening mid-way through. In my opinion, reading this review gives all the highlights of the story, and is probably much more interesting that listening to the book.
