Unabridged Audiobook
The book is informative and interesting regarding the career of a secret service agent however it does not discuss much of the actual assassination. Pass up if you want an in-depth discussion of the shooting or Warren report. Definitely listen if you are interested in hearing as stories of secret service agents interacting with presidents and their families
Thanks to this brave person for telling it the way it was, how it happened and with no spin. Truly written from the heart!
I loved it
A little anti-climatic because I watched his press tour after the book release, but a fun trip into what it was like to be a secret service agent at such a young age in a time of promise and hope for America. You will appreciate these never revealed insights into the lives of the Eisenhower and Kennedy families from one who was right by their side.
I really enjoyed hearing more of the history. and perspective from the writer's point of view. this narrator is easy to listen to and carries good voice inflection.
What a total waste of time. After an hour and a half I quit listening because it was nothing more than a day by day, hour by hour regurgitation of the author’s big “after college adventure” and short lived career as a secret service agent. The fact that he calls out other professionals as having made a mistake based on his “long running” career as an agent with no real training of any sort in forensics or the actual world of investigations. Interviewing bad-check writers does not constitute an investigation. What an insult to actual investigators everywhere. Don’t waste your money.
