Best friends forever - can it possibly be more than that? I really enjoyed this best friends to lovers story which at times was angsty, funny and sexy with great characters that you could relate to. Having been best friends since elementary school Callan and Cricket can’t image not being in each others lives. However, Callan holds a secret from Cricket that he is anxious about her finding out. His family and friends can see it but Cricket is oblivious. Callan has loved her for what feels like forever but will not act on it as he does not want to lose her. When a medical issue with Cricket has Callan offering for her to live with him all becomes known with Cricket recently realising she has feelings for him as well. Can they make the transition from best friends to a couple? Will their troubles with their own fathers hinder their relationship? A great story with their family and friends being there for them when it counts. I received an audiobook copy for my honest review. I found the narrators easy to listen to and enjoyed the narration.
