Unabridged Audiobook
This was an excellent book. I've heard it before on cassette and still have it. it's been one of my favorite Stephen King books. Been awhile since I heard it last. I really enjoyed the narrators. They did an excellent job, made me feel like I was there. I highly recommend this book.
good book. starts a little slow but good book
Good book. I can understand how a car can take hold of you.
Love the story, but at times, I got a little lost. Went back a few times and picked up the missing parts. Overall, I love the story, can’t wait to see if there will be a second part to it.
Good read
My opinion on this book is mixed. This is, officially, the first book that I've ever listened to without having read first, and while I enjoyed the overall theme, it was difficult to follow at times. There were a lot of first person narratives that jumped between past and present, with a lot of insignificant and/or uninteresting details sprinkled throughout. The mystery of the car kept my attention, however, and left me with a satisfying, albeit anticlimactic conclusion. Basically this story was Christine The Green Mile with a smidgen of The Tommyknockers tossed in for good measure. Definitely not one of my favorite King "reads", but it was well recorded and not a horrible way to spend on a commuter train.
