Tony Parsons' DC Wolfe is a real-life policeman. His descriptions of where he lives and works bring back memories of where I worked. There is a perfect mixture of action and police procedure. The narrator has an excellent voice and his characterisations work well.

A great addition to the Max Wolfe series. Love the characters and the twist with his home life. Kept me gripped right to the end. Perfect mixture of action and description.Already started the next book. Don’t want this series to end!!
