Mindfulness concepts and a guided meditation, relaxation exercise which is similar to one I did in a high school religion class almost five decades ago comprise the bulk of one of the chapters

I was not as enamored of some of the suggestions of fasting and other dietary discipline mainly because fasting is not something everyone can do because of health issues. Other than that there is something here for everyone who is interested in these topics.
