The author goes to great lengths to discuss habits both good and bad and how to encourage good ones and get rid of bad ones. Mindfulness concepts and a guided meditation, relaxation exercise which is similar to one I did in a high school religion class almost five decades ago comprise the bulk of one of the chapters
I now understand why people think so highly of this book. Amazing concepts, ideas and theories - and truths - to integrate into both one’s personal and professional life; it really makes you think and (re)consider.

This book is an excellent “road map” to refer to time and time again, as you continue to push and challenge yourself to create a life of your choosing with no regrets, only gratitude.
I was not as enamored of some of the suggestions of fasting and other dietary discipline mainly because fasting is not something everyone can do because of health issues. Other than that there is something here for everyone who is interested in these topics.
I enjoyed this book very much though it seemed at times like it could have been expanded into three books. Perhaps the book started as several separately themed articles
