Unabridged Audiobook
This is one of those rare times when I’d rate the book (which I read originally in its installment form) and the movie as equally excellent. I couldn’t listen to this without hearing the rumble of Michael Duncan’s voice
OMG what a amazing book, so much better than the movie.
classic one of Stephen King's best absolutely love it Frank Muller was one of the best narrators the world's ever known
Excellent
I read/listen a lot of books…this one escaped me for years but I finally got to it! As usual I loved Mr. King’s writing. Simply put…he tells a great story! Highly recommend this book.
Great movie, but the Book was even better!
Can't say enough good about this book.
Just incredible. I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator was wonderful. Thank you for such great entertainment.
Great book by Stephen King. The narrator did a outstanding job
One of Stephen Kings best works. If you're not into the horror novels but are curious about his writing style and are a fan of crime thrillers/dramas than this is a must read.
I had to read the last 2 chapters 4 times because I cried so hard I could barely read.
Excellent book. Very well narrated
I was in love with this book the moment it started. It inspired me to do research on the death penalties in each state. Much better then the movie
Amazing book, fascinating! Would highly recommend it.
Amazing book. I didn't want it to end. I love Stephen King and listening to his amazing characters brings such bittersweet life to stories like these. His views on humanity are so imaginative. He wraps his characters up in such vivid tales of right and wrong, good and evil. I find myself contemplating the complexity of his characters and their triumphs and losses long after the book is finished.
This was a grand read. I enjoyed so much that I want to hear it again.
I don't know how I made it to my mid-20s without reading this book or seeing the movie, but this was one of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to. Never have I felt so much empathy for a fictional character than I did for John Coffey. The writer and narrator both did a great job with this one. I highly recommend it. It has a very Stephen King feel but I'd argue that it is just outside the realm of the genre he typically writes. This book is right up there with Shawshank Redemption.
