Summary
After a lavish night of guilty pleasures in Monte Carlo, four best friends face an awful morning of arrests -- and a fight for survival.
Only minutes after Abbie Elliot and her three best friends step off of a private helicopter, they enter the most luxurious, sumptuous, sensually pampering hotel they have ever been to. Their lavish presidential suite overlooks Monte Carlo, and they surrender: to the sun and pool, to the sashimi and sake, to the Bruno Paillard champagne. As the weekend moves into pulsating discos, high-stakes casinos, and beyond, Abbie is transported to the greatest pleasure and release she has ever known.
In the morning's harsh light, Abbie awakens on a yacht, surrounded by police. Something awful has happened: something impossible, unthinkable. Abbie, Winnie, Serena, and Bryah are arrested and accused of the foulest crime imaginable. And now the vacation of a lifetime becomes the fight of a lifetime-a fight for survival. Guilty Wives is the ultimate indulgence, the kind of nonstop joy-ride of excess, friendship, betrayal, and danger that only James Patterson can create.

This is the first James Patterson book that I've read, and I must say ... couldn't stop "reading" it! Tangled plot, interesting characters, French setting. And when the main character is on the run, you start getting the feeling that she's a 21st century Jean Valjean (Les Miserables).

All I can say is AMAZING!!!! I couldn't stop listening. I drove my husband and kids nuts, couldn't cook dinner, laundry, go to work, even take a small break to the restroom I hid my ear phones with me! Loved the narrator, she nailed all of it to make me feel like I was actually there!

One of the best books I've "read" all year. I couldn't stop listening! The book is full of plot twists that keep you on your toes and wondering what will happen next. January LaVoy made the book even better with her excellent narration. I will definitely be reading another James Patterson book in the future.

Pretty good. I really liked the end, the middle dragged on a but for me, but it came together nicely at the end.

Extremely dramatic and unrealistic. Painful to listen to but I stuck to it and it hit a little better.

First 80% if this book is excruciating, then it gets a little better. If you like a story where someone is falsely accused, can't disprove it, and is constantly kicked down, this one is for you!

I love reading James Patterson books. However in past years with co writer they don't seem as good. Okay great detail for the first three quarters, The last Of the book Was thrown together. The plot was quite predictable. And once again the author just pulled a rabbit out of his hat at the last moment. Tying up all loose ends. I really like the generator.
