Summary
Brittany Callaghan thinks she's dreaming when a blond, nearly seven-feet-tall Nordic god shows up on her doorstep in her tiny California town. He claims to be a barbarian warrior in need of her help.Though a stunning, statuesque beauty herself, intelligent and independent Brittany has struggled hard to earn respect in a man's world. She is taken aback when Dalden, a spectacular Viking who is a long way from home, needs her help-and is willing to pay for it. He's had Brittany's blood running red-hot since she first saw him, and warrior or no, she agrees to help him.As bold and brash as she is beautiful, Brittany isn't going to be subservient to any man, even one who is everything she ever wanted in a lover, and whose very touch sets her senses afire. Dalden is a warrior to the depths of his soul—proud, powerful and brave—a man who will fight fearlessly and relentlessly for what he wants. And now, what he wants most of all is Brittany.…

Loved this book, loved the journey into another's world.

This book was horrible. It was so disconnected that I thought that it was not recorded correctly. It seemed to be two completely separate books that somehow got meshed together. Truly a disgrace to Johanna Lindsay other titles. Science fiction and love stories don't connect well.

I enjoyed this book it is third of a series. The first one is warrior women and the second is Keeper of the Heart. It helps to listen to them in a series so you will understand the history. It is a Sci-Fi drama..

I thought the story was good. I was surprised that it was SciFi, but I liked it. I hated the voice of Dalden. It was hard to concentrate on what he was saying when the vocals were so bad. I would have enjoyed the story more if I had read the book myself...

Not worth the rental, terrible storyline and even worse narration making characters sound like robots... because some of them were. Used futuristic, alien plot with subplot of virgin woman coming to terms with male love of life from barbaric alien planet. The "I don't believe their alien story" plotline was strung out for far to long in the main charcters. Not enjoyable... skip it.

I purchased this book. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I enjoyed sci-fi. It was a little freaky. Johanna ....what were you thinking? Not a total waste of my time and money.
