Great book that is the perfect lead-in for the next, long hoped for series from TW. The point of view includes one solidly from the very alien perspective of the Norns which is really interesting and broadly expands the view presented in the first series. It's difficult to return to a most beloved series with growth and not trip up. Well done.
Narration... it took a few chapters to catch the cadence and not have to roll back and repeat but that's because the narrator has developed character accents that do give the sense that they are speaking totally different languages. Ultimately that's a positive but it did take me a while to catch on so... don't give up! The story is worth it.
