If you like long, depressing books filled with terrible, selfish characters with no redeeming qualities, this is the prefect story for you!

The book was a bit drawn out. Interesting characters. Thought it was ok.

Fantastic read. It took me awhile to get into the storyline, but once I did I couldn’t put it down.

I kept listening, but wanting it over with almost the whole time. . People reading must have had a better experience. So many loved it so I kept going. Moderator added to the boredom.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The author sure has a very creative mind to come up with these situations that are highly unlikely, but definitely possible. Character development was good. You really knew the people and you were highly invested in the family and I enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful storytelling and complex and rich characters. Thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end!

Wonderful book. Loved the bonds between the sisters. When I dislike narration, I always assume the author had some directorial authority and likes the narration. But I found Maura Tierney extremely flat. (I feel the same about her acting.) If the story had been any less exceptional, I wouldn’t have made it to the end.

Family is the foundation of our lives. With family everything is possible. Forgiveness, kindness and love frees the soul to enjoy the the wonders of life. If you have ever had a bit of trouble with family then you need this book.
