Summary
Do we ever really know the ones we love?
Reclusive Clare Collins crafts her novels like she crafts her life: perfectly. So the world is stunned when the famous author is found dead on a beach from a self-inflicted gunshot—the morning after her latest book hits the shelves.
Her sister, Eileen, is at a loss. Clare led a charmed life: success, mansions, money... Why would she throw it all away? But while reading through her sister's latest—and greatest—novel, Eileen discovers a clue that unravels the fiction and reveals the painful truth. Suddenly, the life that Eileen had envied doesn't seem so sparkling...
Her Perfect Life is a page-turning debut that reminds us that no matter the success, everyone has secrets. And some are more devastating than others.

I enjoyed it but it drug on a little bit. Almost felt like when they try to make a 30 minute show fill an hour.

Good read. The mystery part was solid but I thought the book was longer than necessary, in part because stories within the story were told multiple times.

I enjoyed this book. The twists and turns of the plot kept me engaged. Revisiting the past to understand the backstory of the present made the book that much more interesting.

I really enjoyed this book that I stumbled upon. The first chapter sucked me in with the very relatable every day grind and stress she was going through. I think the narrator did a great job and I plan to look for other books she reads.

I enjoyed the book. I thought that the reason for her death would have been found in the last book She wrote. It is not. That was disappointing. Narrator is excellent.

I would give the narrator 10 stars if it were an option. The book was great. I am a big fan and wasn't disappointed

This story was contrived and convenient, however, I still wanted to know what was going to happen. in the end... so that says something good about it, no? The narrator was good also.

The narrator seemed to make Eileen a nasty person sometimes. Just the way she spat out her words. If that was the intent, it was a good job, but I don't feel that her character was really like that. I enjoyed listening to the audio book. I was just going along and listening to it, so the ending took me by surprise.

Good story but predictable ending.

The book is well narrated and slow paced but the descriptions are quite vivid in your mind. The plot is a bit omnipresent albeit the flow is good so far and intrigued to know how it ends.

Loved it! The author wove a fantastic story—a little predictable with the hint drops throughout the book, but still thoroughly enjoyable. Definitely recommend. The narrator did a good job of making the characters come alive, too!

Loved this book!! The story being told from different characters and different times in their lives made it easy to put it all together in the end. It flowed well and great work by the narrator!

It’s was a good book with an interesting story. A little too heavy on the descriptions for me and would repeat things a lot. I found I was jumping forward quite a bit. Good narration. And on the whole an enjoyable book.

This is a fun, compelling listen with a great narrator. Not innovative from a plot perspective, but well written.

The book is entertaining and well written but an essential part of the plot is copied from Kristen Hannah's book, which is why I give only 3 stars.

I quite enjoyed this book. A tried and true plot, but written in a solid way. Worth having a listen to if your’re looking for something light to read.
