Unabridged Audiobook
This is better than your typical romance story. I’ve had too much family drama lately and couldn’t get into this book at first. I almost stopped, thinking maybe I just wasn’t in a good headspace. I am so glad I didn’t stop, because boy did I have a great surprise with this audiobook! It starts out as your typical HEA with a wee bit of mystery alpha vibes. Then BAM, here’s a twist. BAM, have another! I really didn’t expect these types of twists! I don’t want to give away any spoilers but hang on to your socks! The first twist was super funny and interesting. Then the second twist adds a suspense level to this romance that I really didn’t expect. The writing was exceptionally skilled and captivating. The characters were well-developed, and the story had depth. It was captivating. I will definitely be listening to more of Theodora Taylor’s audiobooks!\r\n\r\nClementine Drove was perfectly cast for her role. Her timing, pitch, pace, and tone were all great. Her characterizations were spot on. I especially love the southern drawl she gave to the H. There were multiple character types with different voice styles. Clementine’s ability to flawlessly weave in and out of different styles is exemplary. This was a stellar performance. She really brought this story to life. I highly recommend the audiobook version of this story. Thank you to Valentine PR for gifting me this awesome audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
