I thought this book was awful - way below Ms. Clark's abilities and talent. The plot was thin, the characters undeveloped and out of place, and the whole thing was a real reach. For example, to think that a crime of this nature would make front-page news in NYC flies in the face of logic. Give me a break...
I also think Ms. Clark should stick to writing and leave the reading to someone else.
I have both read and listened to other Regan Reilly mysteries. While I always enjoy the books, the audio versions have not been that great...this one was much better. I think the editing was done better as I didn't find this one as confusing when listening. Also, I think the author sounds much better doing the audio on this one. I would recommend it.
