Unabridged Audiobook
Great story.
W e b griffin tells the story with real life fixtures while plugging in fictional characters, it's a great read everytime. The precision in which the author tells the story is unmatched. War buffs these books are for you.
I love Griffin's books - they are always a good read. This abridged version leaves a lot to wish for. The gaps are quite obvious, and the flow of the story is impacted by it. The whole story has an unfinished feel to it, and often the plot jumps from one place to the next without any interruption in the narrative. This is unfortunate, since the plot is very promising and characters interesting. I would not recommend this version.
This is my first Audio Book that I have listened to so I am probably giving it one star less than usual because I am just getting acclimated to the format. In any case, a very easy "read" so perfect for the car. This is my first WEB Griffin book. The build up was good but the climax was way too short and not very exciting. In a movie, it would be about 5 minutes.
Readers should be aware that this is in fact the abridged version of this book, and it suffers from the abridgement process.
