Unabridged Audiobook
This book had promise but really dragged in the beginning and questions still remain the end. Like what was the monster? Come from? Goal? Also the sex was pornographic, didn’t need it explained in such detail
It was fantastical to say the least. Violent at times, enough to make me squirm. The ending was too neatly wrapped in a package. It was an ok story.
Good read
Another winner from this terrific, dependable author. I always like to amp up my horror collection during October (of course) and this was a great choice. The characters are well-drawn and incredibly likeable, you root for them, and the little besieged down of Magdalena, from day one. That makes this more than just a horror story. It's also a wonderful novel about how people cope with sudden terror and strangeness in their lives. The story is gripping and absolutely terrifying. As usual with Little, it builds slowly and menacingly and then just explodes. You won't be disappointed.
