Unabridged Audiobook
Lettie has been a great support character in previous stories, but stepping up as a main character didn’t work, in my opinion. It’s too obvious that she’s being made to be this expert badass, who doesn’t back down to tough criminals, politicians, other law enforcement, or 3 letter agencies. And is too young and green for it to come across as believable. Lastly, the politics of the author seem far from subtle in this read. I’ll stick to Lucas and Virgil.
Loved it! More please…
Excellent
Loved Lettie as a main character. Her past survival skills help her as an investigator. Ready for more!!
This one was more "action packed" than most of his stories. I liked it. Happy to see Lettie has her own series.
Enjoyed getting to know Lettie. The reader was great too.
Lettie has been a great character in the Lucas and Virgil books she’s always been a bad ass and it didn’t stop here
Love anything read by Ferrone.
Love the Lucas books & am excited to get to know Lettie. The book kept my attention-especially for an area I was unfamiliar with. Liked the banter between characters. Narrator was easy to listen to & changed inflection in his voice between characters.
This book is a set up for things to come. But, you get through the whole book and wonder what has the main character accomplished? Sanford set's her up for future adventures but the ending is abrupt and at after all the story what did she help or stop. I would say there was little to no success to the main characters efforts. Kind of blah.
Think I had read every book john Sanford has written and never been disappointed and loved this one as always
