Unabridged Audiobook
This wasn't the best book I've ever read but it wasn't the worst. There are multiple story lines that didn't seem to come together in a way that made sense to me. The narrator was good.
I loved the book very much, great narration by Grace Grant. Just the right mix of story line and explicit sex scenes for my liking, well rounded audio book. Honey for your ears
It was such a good book. Hot and steamy. It's a great contrast between good and evil.
The overall story is okay. It lacks a real plot. The main character experiences a large amount of character development, but that can't be said for the man opposite her in the story. The narrator breaks up sentences is a really strange way. Quotes are read in completely unrealistic ways.
I really enjoyed the book and the characters. Should make it into a movie. Thank you, Kyra Davis.
good story but too much detailed sex for my taste. Wish I'd know before buying.
Beginning was interesting but towards the middle I found it boring and fast forward a lot when 4 hours was left.
I truly enjoyed this book. it was a bit more of a shocker at times that had me wanting more!
I had no idea what this book was about going into the story. I chose it for the audiobook because I like the narrator. I’m a little surprised that I enjoyed it. Normally, I don’t appreciate a book that has cheating, but for some reason this one was okay for me. The characters were compelling enough to make me overlook my reservations. Before I mention what I liked about the characters, I have to say that I really enjoyed this author’s writing style. She definitely has a way with words. The funny thing is the story is told in the present tense, which is my least favorite writing style, but Kyra Davis does such a good job I didn’t even notice. I also loved the character development in this book. The heroine’s decisions weren’t always ones I agreed with, but she was in the middle of an identity crisis, trying to find out who she was. She was confused. I loved her struggle with being who she wanted to be as opposed to who other people wanted her to be. Her struggle with choosing a partner that she wants as opposed to one she should choose. She was a flawed character, but captivating. The hero was deliciously Alpha, and definitely not having any sort of crisis. He’s a megalomaniac and master of his universe. What I loved most about him is that his surety and strength was something he used to bolster and support the heroine. He was good for her. This was definitely an engrossing story and it’s pulled me in.
