Well, definitely listen to their 2010 Bulletproof Investing book in The Little Book series first IF one is on the beginning side of investments beyond the basic 401k and rudimentary understanding of 60/40 stocks/bonds portfolio allocation, and/or if one does NOT have one's financials in order (out of credit debt, no leins/creditors calling, decent cash savings, basic 60/40 IRA-type retirement vehicle already funded). This book is for those folks who have "that type" of discretionary money to invest.
That said, with a touch of humor, this February 2011 book eases one through the idea of strategies, risks, rewards, & specific alternative investments (down tonthe ticker available as of the 2011 publishing) plus how to access them.
That said, listening November 2020, surely a lot of the specific tickers and various vehicles have well changed in the nine years since the book was written. It'd be interesting to see a followup book using 20/20 hindsite to discuss not only how well their general & specific recommendations in this 2011 book turned out, but the variants and new alternative investments that have cropped up in the nine years since originally published.
This book gives you a broad view of hedge funds strategies, how passive and active investor can have alternatives strategies on their portfolio
