It's a little spoon fed but a very fun story. Her style of writing does not drag things out but I could have left the lessor negatives and stories out completely.

Another great book from this author. I’m really loving this series so far. The concept of these vampires and lesser’s is so original. So I finally get to hear about Rhage’s backstory and I was really interested in what exactly he was and why. The fact that he was cursed was so intriguing but the actual why of it had me flinching just a little bit. Then to introduce a new potential brother in the form of a boy who can not speak was awesome. Though Mary Luce was a little annoying at first and really whiny but since she was completely human, it was understandable. I can’t wait to get into the next book.

A little too much “heat” for me but an okay story over all

I really loved this strange love story of Mary( sickly, unnoticed) and Rage (a beautiful, strong, vampire) that falls in love with her in such a strange connection. I was drawn into this love affair from the beginning. Their love making was so erotic. It was like they could not stand to be away from each other. There was so much compassion. But then to find out that years ago Rage had killed a bird and was cursed for the remainder of his life with monster placed inside him (sickened me) And that the monster was making love to Mary along with Rage was just too much for me. It reminded me of the Beauty and the Beast but this was just too much. The beast wanted Mary for himself.

I love how this was written. The way this guy narrates this makes you feel like your there. I was listening to this on the way to and from work. I couldn't wait to get stuck in traffic and would look around to see of anyone else was hearing the juicy parts too. Lol I am enjoying this series so far.

I couldn't make it through the first five minutes. This narrator. Both characters sound exactly the same. i don't need a full cast to read a book, but at least change the timber or something so I can tell who's saying what. Super glad I got the audiobook for free.

Never read any other book by this author so I didn’t know what to expect. It took me about 4-6 hours into it trying to keep all the characters straight. The porn was definitely detailed lol.

(giggles) Early on the narrator pronounced 2-Pac as "two pack".

I think the relationship dynamics between Mary and Rhage was a bit too dramatic and I often was rolling my eyes. That being said I still enjoyed the story plot and can't wait to read the next book.

Strong characters and Jim Frangione brings them to life.
