Unabridged Audiobook
The story is ok. A bit dark and definitely not a regency romp. But I'm writing this review for the narrator. She sounds a bit like Moira from Shitts Creak, which is hilarious and fantastic. It makes it all quite funny, even the darker parts.
A good story where you get the sense of a strong connection between the main characters. I find the narrator's accents and pronunciation really hard though. It's especially true of the servants, whose accents move randomly from Ireland to Newcastle to Kent. But setting aside the narration, I enjoyed the book.
