Unabridged Audiobook
This book may be of interest to anyone in a role working with lots of people, decision makers, and in situations involving negotiation of some sort.
I do thanks to this book. It has also helped me correct some of my own body language that I've always sensed was inconsistent with the way I felt, based largely on how other people treated me. I do worry about the tricksters who will use the information in this book to exploit and manipulate people.
The book also makes a great point in reading body language in clusters and not just individually. Meaning each body language is like a word in a sentence and you'd put those words together to make a sentence.
I picked this up as an interesting read. Definitely for people wanting to know more on human interaction and also psychology. The book is an easy read and has many illustrations, so you don't have to use your imagination as to what it may look like when someone's disagreeing or agreeing.
I picked up this book for further expanding my knowledge on human body language. This book is excellent in non-verbal communication. It covers everything from facial expressions, hand movements/gestures, leg/feet placements, stances, and difference between negative and positive expressions.
The book is excellent and should be read by anyone interested in reading/interacting with/manipulating others. I started using some of the tricks in the book and they work.
An excellent guide to human body language and decoding what others are thinking based on their posture, position and gestures. It also offers advice on how to communicate better through appropriate body language and how to convey information (or lie) more easily.
With this book you can connect better with people; communicate more effectively, and get across the nonverbal information you really want to convey in a variety of situations, from giving speeches or presentations to being in a job interview. Lot's of VERY valuable information in this book; highly recommended!
The best book on body language available. I've read this book three times and always pick up new insights every time. After studying this book you'll be able to read people better no doubt. Of course it takes some practice to really master the techniques you learn in this book, and you'll be a bit overwhelmed and confused at first...it gets better over time however. It's been over four years since the first time I read this book and I still haven't memorized all the techniques
Body language can be a hard thing to learn and employ, especially if you have aspergers like I do. Learning to communicate with peers using any kind of non verbal language was hard for me until I read this book
