Summary
Dear Anna,

What I have to tell you is difficult to write, but I know it will be far more difficult for you to hear, and I'm so sorry . . .

The unfinished letter is the only clue Tara and Emerson have to the reason behind their close friend Noelle's suicide. Everything they knew about Noelle—her calling as a midwife, her passion for causes, her love for her friends and family—described a woman who embraced life.

Yet there was so much they didn't know.

With the discovery of the letter and its heartbreaking secret, Noelle's friends begin to uncover the truth about this complex woman who touched each of their lives—and the life of a desperate stranger—with love and betrayal, compassion and deceit.

Fabulous book, I so enjoyed it, I did figure out the ending before it was revealed but it was still fabulous. One of the narrator's voice was quite robotic and I found her difficult to listen to.

This was a great book. There was suspense until the very end. I wish they delved into the reason Noelle committed suicide and how much Tara’s husband actually knew.

At the end, I enjoyed this book but at the beginning I wasn't sure I could listen to it. When I first started listening, I thought the book was filled with cliches, predictable and didn't have much depth. I didn't like that I could usually figure out what the character's would say or do next. I was also very turned off by one of the narrator's voice. She almost made me stop listening. However, as time went on I ended up liking the story line and couldn't wait to be in my car again so that I could listen.

It took a couple of chapters to get invested into the story, but once there I was completely invested. I fell in love with the characters. The narrators brought the characters to life. The book was full of twists and turns and blissfully ran with my emotions!
