Unabridged Audiobook
Just loved this book and the series.
Great listen
Brilliant . I could read this again
Loved this book. Brilliant story and totally hooked from first word to the last
Very good
Great book, just like the 6 previous ones, not so sure about the narrator. I guess it’s very trick to do so many accents and voices
I am a fan of this Lucinda Riley series! However, this installment is my least favorite of the series. The back story was overly long winded and the consistent avoidance of finding out or even clarifying issues throughout the story became tedious. Its the only installment that did not bring closure to the "sister's story". Even so, i can appreciate the story and remain a fan! I await the next/final installment in the series.
Enjoyed this series
Excellent book!! Loved all of them and can't wait for the next one.
A compelling story and very well read… even if the NZ accents were more Australian!.. quite forgivable though.. ( we DO have an odd accent!) Can’t wait for the Pa Salt story…
Loved everything about this and can’t wait for the next instalment
So bummed the final (?) book won’t be published until 2022! I need closure too! Lots of loose ends
I have now listened to the first four sister books , currently on book 5 .. love them Quite addictive listening during our long periods of COVID lockdown .
My least favorite of the seven books. Everything is dragged out infinitely, and it ends all of a sudden with a cliffhanger. So we still don't know the whole story. What a bummer.
LOVED the book. Can't wait for Pa Salt's story
Wonderful book, but so sad to hear the author has recently passed away. Now we may never know the story of Pa Salt. Heartily recommend this series. Only down side was the narrator - her accents for Australia and New Zealand were poor and I'd prefer no accent to a poor one.
I loved it. Brilliant author, brilliant narration. History part of book has been researched so well and I can’t wait for Audio Books to offer Pa Salt - the final episode.
This is not the final book and we have to wait until 2022 for the new final book! Slightly cheated but also another to look forward to. More of the story but still many questions, although I read Lucinda Riley’s webpage where she’s said there was too much to put into one book and to do the story justice it needed another book, Book 8. This book won’t disappoint and moves the story is a slightly different direction.
I really was under the impression that this would be the last book of the series.... because that’s what the author said! But...it isn’t. And if you go into it as I did, expecting answers from past books, you’ll be deeply disappointed.... the author announces at the very end of the book that there will be an 8th book all about Pa’ salt’s life. Please, be aware of this and set your mind around the fact that the 7th book is mostly about the missing sister. Now to the story- I felt this is the weakest one of the series and it felt like the author envolved all of the other sisters and characters from past books in a very unnecessary way... the book takes place in Ireland and explores it’s very troubled past, which I enjoyed very much. Aside from that.... there isn’t very much to tell... the book felt tired and repent from the other stories. There are a couple of big questions that at the end of the book one can somewhat guess and put together.... anyhow.... now we have to wait until fall of 2022 to hopefully get the answers we were promised....
Lasted less than 5 minutes, as I listened to an Australian accent rather than a Kiwi one. A fine distinction I know, but unbearable in terms of believability to an actual New Zealander.
