Summary
Jamison Bexley is the one who got away. If only I hadn't pushed him.

Seven years ago, he was my everything. My confidant. My safe haven. My best friend. However, dating him was never an option. Not when his eyes gravitated toward every girl in town but me.

That is, until the curse of bad timing found us both . . . and struck. All it took was one night. One big mistake. Altering everything we could ever be.

I'm still paying for my sins all these years later. Life has been downright cruel. I'm working countless hours trying to hold onto the pieces of my shattered dreams. Determined that nothing will keep me from my end goal.

Until Jamison struts back into our small town and gets a firsthand glimpse of my life. Suddenly, he wants to be my knight in shining armor. But I don't need a savior.

Those moments in time are long gone. And he's about to realize why.

Contains mature themes.

Alyssa Greenvale and Edward Black are fantastic narrators. Their voices are perfect for these characters - bringing great feeling and emotion to each one. They are new to me narrators and I look forward to listening to them performing other books. I really enjoy audiobooks because great narrators bring a whole new experience to enjoying a great story. I This is such a beautiful and easy read. When I say easy, I mean the story flows along so effortlessly and sucks you into the beautiful journey of these two wonderful humans. I found myself laughing, smiling and hoping for these two to move beyond their past and rush forward to a beautiful new beginning. KK Allen brings us an amazing second chance story with amazing characters - Jamison, Violet and Bray (Violets son) along with characters from her other books. I also love the wonderful world of Camp Bexley. Violet is a single mom who is doing the best she can. She has regrets from her past that continue to haunt her. Jamison is trying to be a good brother and son - traveling between locations to do his job so he can help out at Camp Bexley. Violet and Jamison have a past…it ended in a bad way with a lot of unanswered questions and hurt. They seem to be drawn to one another but need to decide if they can co-exist in the same town/Camp Bexley. Forgiveness, understanding and love is what will carry them through.

Moments in Time is a great addition to the Camp Bexley series. This time it's Jamison and Violet's turn. They were best friends but haven't seen each other in seven years. Now Jamison has returned home and finds out how Violet's life has not been smooth or easy. Their second chance romance was really well done with nice pacing of the relationship development. The two of them have so much history but also have to get to know each other as they are now. There was also good character growth from each of them as well. There are also some appearances from the other Bexley siblings, too. It's nice to see the familial bonds growing and they added some nice moments to the story. This narrator is new to me and I thought she did a nice job bringing the characters and story to life.
